Choices Sober Living — The New Standard in Sober Living

Sober living and recovery residence questions

What does Choices provide?

Choices provides recovery-oriented shared housing, structure, peer community, house expectations, and practical resources. It is not detoxification, emergency medical care, or a substitute for licensed treatment.

Is a recovery residence the same as a halfway house?

People sometimes use “halfway house,” “sober house,” and “sober living” interchangeably when searching. Choices describes its homes as sober living or recovery residences: recovery-oriented shared housing, not detoxification or licensed clinical treatment.

Who does Choices serve?

Choices offers separate residence options for women, women 50+ or mature in sobriety, and men. Fit and current availability are reviewed directly.

How do I check availability?

Call or text (561) 222-1982 or send the short availability inquiry. Current openings and fit are confirmed directly by the Choices team.

Can a family member or professional inquire?

Yes. Family members, payment guarantors, treatment providers, and referral professionals may begin the conversation.

Where do I apply?

After the initial conversation, applicants can complete the detailed application in the Behave portal. Behave remains the authoritative application record.

Are prescribed medications considered?

Medication needs are reviewed individually under the current Choices medication policy. Contact Choices before applying if medication support affects placement.

Where are the homes?

Choices serves Palm Beach County. Exact residence and placement details are discussed during admissions to protect resident privacy.
